Travel in Paris France

Visiting Paris is a fashion lover’s dream. The arts as well as education, entertainment, science and the latest trends in personal pleasures are prevalent in the city’s contemporary shops, malls and markets. The city is divided into districts and has several sections or quarters that are not listed on city maps. The district on the left bank of the Seine is the oldest district of Paris and is known around the world as simply “The Left Bank.” Most of the scholastic institutions are located on the Left Bank. The central Left Bank quarter is Saint-Germain-des-Pres. The boulevard Saint-Germain was completed in 1886. Almost immediately, Cafés, bistros and jazz clubs opened along this famous street and they are still part of this artistically vibrating section of the city. Most of the boutiques, shops and restaurants located on the left Bank are internationally recognized.
